Senate to MoveOn: Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah

While Rome Iraq is burning, our United States Senate boldly passed a resolution that those who dis General Petraeus are hereby condemned.

So there, MoveOn. Even if the General contradicted well-respected assessments, and even though the military used funny ways of counting casualties, and even though facts and contexts were buried, hey, he’s OUR GENERAL so be forewarned that IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT OUR GENERAL, WELL, HEY BUDDY, JUST DON’T SAY ANYTHING.

You would be wise also to remember what happened to habeas corpus. Habeas corpus? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING HABEAS CORPUS!

Got that?

Check out those who either feel that way or are too timid to let on that they don’t. Glad New York’s own are on the right side.
