Some Sort of Appeasement

John McCain marked the solemn 40th anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today…

by quickly focusing the attention on himself — even evoking Dr. King to more or less say “hey, cut me some slack.” The disingenuousness of all this was not lost on Rep. John Conyers, who alludes not only to McCain’s voting against a federal holiday in 1983, but his also supporting Arizona Governor Mecham’s rescinding the holiday in Arizona in 1987.

What is it with some people? Is a narcissistic personality disorder a requirement for belonging to the McCain-fawning press axis?

Appeasement? Appeasement? You’ve got to be kidding me.
